Looks like UP will be blasted with some major artic cold starting thrusday. Highs to be around 0 to 5- thrus thru sat. in some area's even worse. keep an eye on those plugs and leave the mx helmet at home. can't wait!!!!!!!
Yeah, they are talking like -27 Thursday night, yikes. I'm considering richer jetting.

but is there any snow in the forcast?
I heard earlier that it was going to snow Thursday, but now they don't mention it. Who knows, it'll change 4 times yet.

Dont you just love this yo-yo weather we have? First its 0* for about 2 weeks, then we get about 9" of snow.
They are talking here in southern Wisconsin about temps in the mid to high 30s and rain for Monday,Tuesday and Wednesday. That'll wipe out all the snow we got last week! Then, after Wednesday they are talking about some seriously cold temps.
Im going up to Minocqua this weekend to do some riding, I hope to get in at least 200 miles. One things for sure, my MX helmet will be left in the house and I will be wearing my Sno Force!
To be honest with you all, Im looking foreward more to spring getting here and the start of the ATV racing season! The other day I bought an older Yamaha Warrior and I plan on drag racing at some of the local ATV rallies. I can tell you this, the Warrior does pretty good in the snow with a set of paddle tires! If Minocqua ever pulls their head out of their collective butts and opens up some winter ATV trails I might not even have a reason to own a sled any more. Buy myself a YFZ450 and not many sleds out there would be able to touch me!
I like riding my sled, but Im not a big fan of an 8 hour round trip drive, $70 in gas for my truck and 500 miles put on the odometer in one weekend.

as soon as the cold air comes in im sure the LES belts will get pounded also there is supposed to be 3-5 of system snow on tues night-thur morning. the trails will be in good shape either way this weekend snow or not, they've been getting a little snow here and there all week, and trails were fine last weekend after the rain and they were fine this weekend too. It will just be super cold riding, hope you all have heated visors. Once again I will not make it up there for the ride wich is pretty sad because im only an hour away... but im in debt up to my forehead... there's always february... third time a charm...
