What do you guys know agiut this sled? Problems it would normally have, what I would want to look out for in inspecting it, ect...Asking because I found a pretty clean one w/ 4K on it. Thinking it would be a cool sled to have. I may take out for a pleaseure drive 1-2 times per season, but would be looking more at having a cool old yamaha. YamiGod, if you read this please answer. I know you know these sleds really well.

Thanks for your help!

stupid question---ski slope?

otherwise mine were all bulletproof.[/QUOTE]

SRV is a 535cc fan cooled. Great sled in their day. Still a great trail sled. Tough as nails, simple and easy to work on (if needed). Hold their own and then some on many that were supposed to have more HP. Bought a new one in 84. I would have nothing bad to say about an SRV.

+1 with killerklown.

ski slop- bushings wear out on the associated wear points in the steering components(bushings, spacers, etc.), creating alot of steering "freeplay". consistent with most all the tss yamaha sleds.

Thanks guys---Now can you guys give me what you feel would be a fair price for a very clean one? I saw no damage at all. skid may need to be pulled just for maintance, ect. I did notice some play in left ski. Thanks guys....

I'd probably give up a grand for a real nice one.. Maybe a couple hundred more. Straight running boards, good seat, clean hood... Nothing missing. Very bulletproof sleds. They'll always get ya home if you don't tinker too much.
