M10 in 1990 Exciter

I can get a m10 rear suspension for a really good price and was thinking of getting it and putting it in my new project, just wondering if anyone else has done it. I am not worried about installing it I can handle that I guess I am more wondering how it will sit will the back of the sled be too high any insight would be great

It will sit high in the rear for,especially in that vintage machine. I'd make the stance as wide as possible and put whatever tss strut with the most travel on the to balance it out. Make sure it has 4-5" of sag when seated on the sled.
