Simple Green cleans carbon off the bellypan pretty well, for a quick clean, brakleen also does pretty good.

Bio-Kleen is the best I've found - spray it on, and rinse it off - super stuff

i use castrol super clean, it works on anything.

I had the same problem with my sled, it was almost black all around there but then I found some orange cleaning solution and sprayed that on. It work so well that when I sprayed it on, I could see it drip BLACK! Just the solution alone took it off. I was very impressed.

thanks all you guys, just wanted to let you know i found a good cleaner to use. i lucked into it today from my local zep rep. its called zep 50. man it tears off the carbon like you wouldnt believe. it was effortless. cleaner tahn new now. give it a try boys...
