Hi fellas, what can you tell me about these pics?
MAG piston CENTER piston PTO piston
MAG head CENTER head PTO head
Setting: Bender trips, v-force 2, Mj 165 across, pj 50 across, stock needle, stock fuel screw.
Getting pics of plugs later, but MAG, CENTER was really black and wet, PTO was more greyish

are your carbs vented to atmophere or airbox?
i would also shim the needles 1/2 clip setting richer, so put clip 1 groove position closer to the pointy tip of the needle, and 1 shim on top and 1 shim on the bottom of the clip.

Thanks guys!
I'm vented to the airbox. Got the dcs converted speedwerx head on now to even out comp, starting with Mj mag, center 162,5 pto 165. Pj mag, center 47,5 pto 50. needle 4th groove both rings over.
Forgot to mention, I got 3 28mm holes i airbox.
We got some wet snow yesterday, but it was gone in the afternoon. Hopefully is gets colder soon

you will probably want the mag cylinder richer than the pto, as the hottest cylinder on the viper is the mag cylinder and it even seems to be that way with the speedwerx or other aftermarket heads. I would swap the 165 main into the mag cylinder and put the 162.5 main in center and pto. i had the best luck with all the same pilot jets in all the cylinders, raising the needles to the 3.5 position and have saggered main jets. i always ran the mag cylinder richer, than sometimes the center was a 1/2 size leaner than the mag and then the pto would be 1 size leaner than the mag. also, depending on your elevation and coldest temps, you may even want to richen the mains up 1 size from where you are now, due to the added holes in the airbox.
just keep an eye on the piston wash, to know which cylinders want slightly more fuel etc and you should be ok.

Agree with yammygod. It'd be fine the way it was or you could drop the mag needle half a clip. Just my. 02
