Hi all, Just getting my 98 srx 600 ready to go for the season. I was looking to install studs 144 down the middle. what do i need to do as far as tunnel and heat exchanger protection? also i know its a can of worms but will the woody's gdp6 1005 gold digger studs work on a camoplast hacksaw they have a 1 inch installed length. i did alot of searching on stud length found alot of info just wanted to verify. Thanks everyone

You'll need front protectors and tunnel forsure. If you can find rear ones it would be a good idea also. But they no longer make then so you'll have to find used rear ones. The gdp6 1005 are to short. They would be virtually flush with your lugs. You want the 1.075.If you need anything let me kow. Thanks rich
Protectors
I have front and rear protectors available. Send me a PM. Might have tunnel protectors too. For the tunnel you can also use 1"X"1X1/8th wall square aluminum tubing from the local hardware store. Works excellent.

thanks for the replys guys i found that woodys recomends the 1075 for the hacksaw also how did you fasten the aluminum tubing to the tunnel for the tunnel protectors
Aluminum tunnel protectors
Cut the aluminum to length.....make it as long as you can. Hold it up in to the top of the tunnel somehow. Mark the holes on the aluminum.....they are already drilled in the tunnel. Drill them in the aluminum. Rivet it in with some good multi-grip type rivets.
