Is there any difference from a fully clipped track to a track that is clipped every third window?
Dow it hav anything to do with hyfax wear?
Just wondering if it is worth it Togo with a fully clipped track.
Thx

If your riding conditions are good-great, a track w/ every other or every third would be fine. As you are in Ontario, I'm figuring you'ld be just fine. Cannot really speak for the track wear though.
Are all of the windows @ the clips open or are some of them closed?

I've been told that you get less drag, but more slide wear with a fully clipped track. Clipped every thirds hold more snow which lubes slides better, but creates more drag with the slides rubbing on the rubber sections more.

On your current track.

My current track is stock, fully clipped open every window.
I want to upgrade to a 1.25 ripsaw the fully clipped one is $536, and the clipped every third window every window open one is $499.

I had 8600 miles on my factory 1.25 ripsaw that was clipped every 3rd window and it was in great shape. Only reason I took it off is because I stretched it to a 144. I think you'll be fine with the 3rd window, but it comes down to what you want to spend.

I ride pretty much only groomed trails, every now and then go off trail
I just bought the sled and it came with blue oem, but next year I'm going to put graphite ones on.
