This is what i believe people are talking about

Possibly, but thats been known for a while now. Like the article said, AC has been buying the 120 engine since 09'. AC might like Yamaha engines so much, they just might start using the larger ones in their sleds. Time will tell.

I can see AC wanting Yamaha engines but I can't see Yamaha wanting to sell them any. 120 engines yea OK but anything else???

I'll believe it only when I see a Cat with a tripple tunning fork logo.

the word is Yamaha has gone the 4 stroke route and will never produce 2 strokes on their sleds again..but watch it..bet you they will start producing 2 strokes for AC..first a 120,then 500's,700's and 800's.Now wouldn't that be a kick in the nutz.....:o|

I think the 120s are 4 strokes :( I dont mind the 4 strokes but just love that smwll of the 2 :2strokes: :letitsnow :letitsnow :letitsnow

If and when this actually happens, maybe this is Yamaha's way of testing a new 'clean' 2 stroke before they implement it into their own sleds? God I hope so. I would love a new yammi mountain sled, but refuse to go 4S.

some people say the "heart" of a sled is the engine so In my books a cat with a yamaha engine is a yamaha! All I can you is that if cats had 2 stroke yamaha engines in them I would buy one before i would a yamaha 4 stroke. I went 4 stroke this year for the people that dont know and I could not let my ol vmax go. Not while shes still got life in her that is.
