I have a '79 Exciter with a Comet 102c on it, it has the 3/4 16 pitch threads that the puller engages. I made a 2 piece puller that I have used to pull other clutches, but can't seem to make this one pop. The clutch has only been on the sled for about 3 months, so I know it isn't 'frozen' on.
Just need to know the correct puller to buy, because I will probably be pulling it a bit more frequently while testing spring/weight combos and don't want to bugger up anything with the incorrect puller..part number or pic would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any input.

std comet 102c puller should work some times they bite hard and will not come off might have to fill the hole with grease and use the hydrolic preasure to pop it off

Thanks for the reply...that was going to be the next thing I tried (grease) with my 2 piece puller, if that doesn't work I'll find a one piece puller.

This is the first time my 2 piece puller has failed to pop a clutch first try.

I take off my 108 with a regular 3/4 UNF bolt and fill de hole with any oil i have home.

Thanks again for the replies, but I ended up making a different puller. 3/4 16 hardened pusher bolt, drilled and tapped a hole in the end of it, threaded in the hardened rod, put some anti seize on the pusher threads...popped the clutch first hit with the impact ;)!
