a big one is to ditch the proaction for a lighter skid. there are plenty of lightweight parts you can buy also, but most of them are no longer made, so you have to find used and it can get costly

How much do you weigh? The rider is the heaviest single component on a snowmobile. You could spend a thousand dollars to get 10 lb off the sled. But if you got a few pounds to loose its free.

in my opinion, weight isnt the inhibiting factor with that sled, its the design that kills it in the deep snow. money is better spent making it perform like it could vs buying lightweight parts, then enhance it from there.
as mentioned above, the single biggest weight drop is swapping the skid out for a cat or polaris mtn skid. from there you can look at lightweight trailing arms and front end components. loosing the stock silencer for an aftermarket can saves weight as well.
depending on what your intended use of the sled is, there are plenty of options.

My weight is not the problem 74 kg or 163 lbs.
Yes it is heavy, but it runs well. I love this sled, its perfect but maybe a bit to heavy.
thanks for any advice. I'll see what I manage to do this season.

I think that argument is a bit poor. As a driver, you are more dynamic the heavier you are (NB:not if you are a fat bastard but)!?. The heavier a driver is, the stronger he also is. And I am very light so that a heavy scooter will feel even heavier if it gets stuck. agree?
