Need some help here guys.... Bought a set of new Polaris 10 al weights. My thought was to replace my old ac3 with them. When I finally got them loose I discovered that the holes in the ac weights are bigger than in the Polaris ones the question is what can I do about this? It's quite a big difference, is it enough if I remove the bushing to make the pin fit? Is there any comet guru out there who can give me a quick answer thanx?

ummmmm they should be the same seems like no bushings in the one set
seems like i have a clutch with 5/16 size pins when most of them have 1/4... i found out that i need to remove the bushing on a regular comet clutcharm to make it work. don´t know if that works on the polaris weights but i sure hope so.
Well problem solved! Ordered a new set of 1/4 pins and got some help of my cousin to fabricate a special type of bushing id 1/4 od 5/16 about 1" long that goes straight in the clutch to convert it so that a regular weight with bushing fits. Can´t wait to test my new polaris 10 al weights

I think what you want would be A54's and the long purple comet spring.
