Deer season. Haven't been on the site. Sent you a message explaining the delay. They'll go out on Tuesday - no mail Monday with the holiday. Sorry for the delay/lack of contact. We're good if you still want them

Hi, quick question! So, had the old wheels and bearings pressed off today at the sled shop.... they called me back and said the wheels I got as replacements won't work? Said same size, but no way to secure them once pressed on? Said no way to use a (not sure what they are called) C shaped pin, like the stock ones had...???? I'm wondering what do I do? How do I get them on and secured????? Kinda wondering if the shaft and wheels where off a different sled (the ones I had on) as they don't say Yamaha, they just have a Snowflake picture on them?????? Really need to get this back together.... you guys would know much more than I would! Input?

No groove for the cir-clip? Hmmm.... There's gotta be a way those bearing were secured in there. Maybe if you post a picture of the wheels someone will know what do.

No, there is a spot for the cir-clip.... however, the replacements that I got were WIDER/THICKER than mine..... when pressed on, they covered the cir-clip grove.... so the only way to make them work would be to make a NEW groove......

That's because the inside bearing race is wider, you need different bearings. Look ia a dennis kirk magazine at bearings and it will all become clear. Had this problem before when changing wheels. http://www.totallyamaha.net/forums/showthread.php?t=84025
I also have all my old wheels from a conversion last year, if things dont work out. They are all oem factory wheels-srx

If you have a place that sells bearings near you just take the wheel & the bearing to them and they will be able to get the right size. I go to a place called Motion Industries in Roseville, MN.
