First off, anybody know what the max lug size you can run with stock suspension and drivers?
Also, are there gremlins or common issues to be aware of with these sleds?

crank, fan belt and bearings in fan.
you can put a 1.5 without studs (and speed) stud length is about maxed out at 1.185 in that tunnel. even that is close and will leave some marks under the gas tank.
other than that, same old things that ale all other pro action sleds.

ok thanks for the heads up. Ill prolly just replace it with a standard type lug height and go with 1" studs.

Same as stated above. The butterfly carbs will cause a lean condition at mid range. Suggest swapping to flatslide carbs. I smoked a jug and piston due to this. Hard parts to find also. I run a 1 1/4" track without studs.

So what models / years do I look for, for flatside carbs?
I also noticed he bypassed the TORS on the sled as well. (he = previous owner)
