I have a 97 VMAX 600 XTC and am trying to figure out how to change the belt, would this tool be the answer to spreading the secondary so I can get the belt in/out?
If so where do I get one and is there a video of it in use.. Thanks

Funny you should ask.
I have recently made a tool for exactly that purpose and I am thinking about making some for sale. My plans are still pretty new so pm me with an email account and I can send you the user manual in pdf form.

Belt removal on a Yammy is super easy... Just put your right hand palm on the Helix and lean into it and twist. The secondary should open right up. That's how I do it. The 4-strokes have a stiffer spring and can be a little harder, but not that bad. I changed the belt on my brother-in-law's Vector the same way I do my 700.
