Hi, how do I add the numbers to get this ? Is there a formula ? 2000 sx700r. Man, I hate being dumn to this stuff. Thanks for the help !

Im no cluch expert but it's just a matter of adding the bottom number + the helix number and X10. Example on my viper 70deg twist is stock. So 1 on clutch sheeve + 6 on helix is 7. Mult x10 wala! 70deg twist. This how it was explained to me. So 3 on clutch and 3 on helix should give ya 60deg twist. HEre is a great link i just remembered. http://www.totallyamaha.com/snowmobiles/aaTECH/drivespecs/secondarysprings.htm

Thanks guys, I havent taken it apart yet, but Im assuming you just pick the proper numbers and twist until arrows match up
?

Do the newer secondaries have six ribs on the back of the inner sheave like the older ones? That's how I set the twist on mine (granted I already knew which hole locations I needed). Each rib is 60 degrees apart so I went off of those.
