Has anyone ever successfully smoothed out blemishes in their rear bumper cover or perhaps managed to find a paint that will stay on ?I know krylon makes a plastic paint but the color choices are not that plentiful.

If you're talking about the whiteness from bending/banging or what I'd call bruising - I've had success applying heat from a heat gun on the affected area. If you get it hot enough it'll also help to knock down burs/scratches.

Double on the heat gun. I also use a Patch knife to heat and iron out and small cuts. If you have an old unused experiment with differant heat and proceedures. Al

heat gun works good one time, sometimes makes it look a little purple. for paint, go to an auto paint store and buy vinyl color to paint it with, they can usually put it in a rattle can.

Actually it's a black cover on my 98,it's just scuffed and chaffed from over the years I figured I might be able to smooth out some over the scuffs or just paint the thing.
