what kind of suspension people like to put on a srx that would not ride like a tank ??
 

I just completely rebuilt mine. Waiting to get my Viper rears back from Pioneer. Looking forward to it. X2 on the M10 tho if you need to change up.
 
well i doesnt wanna change the sled but for sure i wanna change the tank ride ....

does it sit higher with the pioneer suspension...or they are just revalve..it need more travel ...

They can re-valve your shock for a better ride(same travel). You can order their long travel kit (longest travel/tallest) or I beleive you can just put the viper shock in your skid re-configuring how its bolted in (In the middle,like my 99 srx) I didnt do the work on either one, bought them that way. Both ride much better than stock.

yeah but i think viper or not properly valve and run a bit like a tank too ...im not heavy guy ..i think viper shock are not all the same ..depends the years ?
 
I have given alot of thought to changing out the skid in my 2001. I agree with the tank like ride but also find it to have a tanks weight! Been considering a fire cat 128" suspension with a 13.5" wide track. Any seen a conversion done like this?

If it's a 99- yes on the straps. If you mean the control rods, the 99's do not have to be changed out.
 
thnx ill check with pioneer ...i try to get more travels and a more soft ride
 
what will give me the best ride ? pioneer performance or just a switch with a viper shocks

I would say their kit would be best but is it worth the extra $? I would get ahold of them and see what the kit is going for now adays, then figure out what the necessary parts from viper is going to cost and then still looking at maybe still need viper shocks rebuit/re-valved.
 
put a vector skid in my sx and just loveit so far. Huge amount of weight transfer, and great ride. guess it comes down to what u want to spend.
 
I really enjoy the ride and weight transfer I get out of a polaris edge skid in my sx. I threw viper shocks up front to get the front end off the ground. I like it!
 
what is the price u want for it ??? not sure i wanna change everything drills new holes and so on but who knows ...price always talk ;)!
