I have been looking how to raise the front end of my 02 Viper and getting a lot of good information on here. I was just wondering if anybody has thought about cutting off the shock mounts on the trailing are and flipping them over. Or just easier to get longer shocks.

I beleive you can unbolt the bracket and flip it over where it bolts to the bulkhead rather than cutting on trailing arms. This raises sled but doesnt give it any more travel. Going with longer shock raises sled and gives additional range of suspension trave.

bracket flip trick is only for srx sleds. a viper is a different animal. what is the reason for wanting height? Height doesn't equal handling or make the sled better in the snow.
If your looking for better in deep snow, wider skid will get you alot farther than lifting the front end.
If you sled sits with the radius rods just above level, it is sitting correctly. if it is lower, you might have sacked springs

Thanks for the input, haven't decided if i want to do it yet, if i do i will post some pics. Got a few other mods in mind but money is kinda tight at the moment so gotta pick and choose what to do. I rather just get new shocks for the front but pretty pricey.
