viper seat on srx...what do ya think?

I swapped to a viper seat and bumper on my 01 srx. I didnt swap tanks but I can live with it. cleaned up the back of the sled in my opinion. what do you think?

Looks good, been thinking about doing this on my 01 or 99 as well.

it does save weight, viper seat doesn't suck up the water like the other. they are lighter as well as ride worse.
you can cover that area with a deluxe tank bag. They cover the entire tank.

I stumbled across the seat, bumper, and cover for $75! I think it modernizes the old dinosaur a bit

Can you show a pick of the tank with the viper seat? Is there a gap or something without changing the tank

vipers dont have the 2 loops that hook over the screws up front or the flap that covers them like the srx does. so that portion of the tank is exposed.

Ok thanks staggs, as an idea i am thinking of having a leather strap made that covers that part of the tank that buttons on the tunnel

I've done it to mine and it looks fine without anything covering the 2 screws. Jmo.

I left mine exposed. I think it looks fine.
