NEED HELP WE HAVE A 1980 YAMAHA EXCELL THAT STARTS RIGHT UP AND WILL RUN STRONG FOR THE FIRST 15 MIN. OR SO THAN IT WILL RUN ONLY ON ONE CYLINDER. PUT A NEW COIL ON IT DID NOT CHANGE. WHEN IT COOLS DOWN IT WILL RUN FINE AGAIN.

Magneto maybe or something down down there not generating enogh power to do 2 spark plugs?
Had and old 79 enticer 250 did the same thing (only its a single) once warmed up it would quit. Change the plug to a cold one and away you go. Changed the stator I think(can't exactly remember so I will ask Maim) and it runs like a champ now.
