bought a set of twin pipes for cheap...anyone have set up suggestions? 2000' elevation.
Did you try AAEN's website or call them? That's where I would start.
I had a 98 MM600. From what I remember there wasn't much that could be done with the twins because of the smart carbs. The triples were a different story. Do you still have the smart carbs?

ya still have the smart carbs...factory exhaust was busted this is the only reason for the pipes, would just like to get it running somewhat decent(wifes sled). I will try calling aaen..the website is pretty weak.
ok so no luck getting install/set-up info from aaen...anyone have suggestions for setting this thing up?

Start your jetting fat and work your way down to where it needs to be
wifes sled, swap someone for the pipes for their stock exhaust.
follow aaens typical advise and up the mains 2 sizes and check your plugs and wash.
smart carbs were designed to be altered for pipes and other performance accessories. dont count on them adjusting for the pipes, increase main size.
