seat cover ?

So I have a buddy who owns an upholstery shop, and got some leftover foam that he didnt want and was thinking of using that to stuff my seat with some extra foam in hopes to raise it 3-4" but 2 years ago I got two rips in my seat and was wondering if I should raise my seat up and look for a different seat cover, or should I look for another nice srx seat? I know new srx seat covers are pretty pricey from what I've heard.
 

ya that looks like a pretty good option thanks blue. Awhile back I was thinking about swapping in a viper seat but wasnt a big fan of how the seat sloped in front, along with having to buy a viper gas tank also. Does anyone have any pics of seats with added foam or any other ideas?
