Well when I replaced the headgasket I noticed I cut corners a bit when I rebuilt my motor years back. I reused a head that has a few dings around the edge. Not where the plug comes through but the outter area. I talkin like 2-3 small marks from probably a ring. I've run the sled for years without issue but could I see a performance increase if I replace with a diff One? Do these need to be perfect? Just looking for input. Thanks.

Sounds like it would be fine, Or maybe its not :dunno: heads are relatively cheap though if your on the fence. We could chime in with better advice if we had a picture to see what you see.

I think I understand where you are talking about the chips being. Had a jetski that lost a cylinder and had a bunch of nicks in the head. We just carefully ground down the high parts by the nicks and put it back on. Ran amazing all last summer. You should be fine.
