so i just got a dual headlight set up for my sx. I know this has been beat to death on this site but have some ??? Seems like every search i do just get into solutions then ends leaving me with more ?? Basically i realize i can get away with two 35 watt bulbs. but can i get away with two 35 watt hid bulbs from piaa??anyone done this successfully with no issues. what about led headlights that i saw on here somewhere?? already have led tailight bulb and think i will get led dash bulbs Any help would be appreciated

I have 7.5 watt leds on my truck as fog lights. At that power, they preform fine.....in that application. You will need somewhere @ a 15-16 watt H4 to come close to being safe for a headlight application. Recient developments in LED technology have allowed some serious power to be put to leds. Something like this....only in H4 of course. I have not ordered any, but am chompin at the bit to do so.

Yea, it's brighter than the single with the silverstar ultra I had before! A really nice super white light, not really that blue like most bulbs and still puts out 60 watts each. I found nice water tight pigtails at autozone.

Ahhh so the plgs for the bulbs are different then the h4s?? thanks for the direction man, Was thinking of going the hid conversion but leary of not having battery to back it up. this seems the easier route

i live in chautauqua county bout 50 miles south of buffalo. If we get some winter we have a exellent trail system around here. Think there is something like 500 miles of trails between all the clubs in this county. ordered those bulbs last night so cant wait to get and do the conversion. Then hopefully some snow to go try them out. Thanks again for help. You ever ride up this way?? Ur noy far being in north east ohio.
