Just wondering what you guys are using for radar runs or drag races. I have a 135psi, ported SRX, and I usually just buy Non-oxygenated 91 octane. My mother in law owns a flight business so I have unlimited access to AViation fuel, either 100 low lead or 110 LL but not sure if I should use it. What do you guys use?

Do not use any more octane then what the engine needs. It will hurt you for performance.
Oxygenated fuel may help a bit though. It's bad stuff though. Really hard on seals and gaskets. Been there done that one.

It's 100LL so it does contain lead. It's designed for a forced induction application. That being said, it has an octane equivalent of 130. You'd want to clean your carbs on the regular as the lead leaves a lot of deposits.

I say try it! Its readily available, and easy enough to put in the tank and remove. Isn't gonna cost ya a bunch of time or money. Let the timers decide what works. If it works you'll know it, and if it doesn't you'll know that too. I wouldn't expect a big difference either way. The one important factor is it will provide some good anti-knock protection for those high-speed runs.

Klotz 108 works good in a stock motor 50/50 mix
