I'm looking for a pair of Fox shocks for the Polaris skid in my Vmax 700. I see a set that has the correct dimensions on Ebay, but the shaft on the one is pitted toward the top. The sellers said the shocks have been rebuilt and have no miles on them. He thought the pitting would NOT effect the performance of the shock. But If I buy them, how hard is it to replace the shaft? I also found the correct shaft on Ebay for about $25. Is this something I could replace myself, or should I have a shock rebuilder do it?
