Who's using a pre studded track on their SRX?I am mulling over whether to try one or not,I really like the traction of push through studs but pre studded would be a lot more convenient.Do they offer anywhere near the traction on ice or hard pack?Would you buy another one or go back to the old way?

I had an ice ripper on my vmax4 for about 600 miles before i sold it. i liked it. Of course you could still spin but with so much horsepower its pretty hard not to. it stopped well though, it didnt want to go broadside like a non studded track.

EDIT: A couple of the carbide tips fell out of the studs immediately which sucked but i think there was like 256 of them or something

I was thinkin about an Ice ripper for my Viper too. Would be very interested in opinions on guys who have ran them.

I put over 1000 miles on my Viper with the Ice Attack. It does not have the same "bite" as a push thru studded track but has enough "bite" on the ice to give you peace of mind driving. The best thing about the track is that you dont get that annoying vibration that push thru studs give you. Its also easier to pull up to the pumps when the concrete is bare compared to a push thru studded track.

I also ran an Ice Attack on one of my Poo's for about 2 years. Good overall traction but nowhere near traditional studs when running on pure ice.

Good luck with your decision.
