I remember reading posts of an older member a few years back that had a 900 made from two 600 twins. I can not find anything with searches.
can anyone remember the owner or has a link to the thread?

This was the only one ever made to my knowledge. Very impressive sled to say the least. I've got pictures of that 95' 500 with the skis off the ground at the 1000' mark ! I have the 1020 version of that motor, unless someone shoehorned a Avalanche motor in a Pro action chassis but I never seen it.

your avitar reminds me. I sold a vmax engine years ago to a guy in southern maine who was a machinist. He was big in 540 sleds and had built a 4banger from two 540. Never did see the sled.

I know Dave Delaughter used to make them back in the day as well.

Bill sold it but knows the new owner and it may be available.

Here's a link at V-4.com to an add with pics.

Bad assed for sure and Bill knows his schnitt!!

I have a 92 Vmax-4 that he set up for a hot trail sled years ago at under 1500 miles. It now has over 9300 on the clock and still runs perfect. This thing still flys and no stock 800 or under will stay with it on the lake. Has put many wantabe hot rods to shame. And it doesn't even have quads.

That 900 he put together is a work of art and one bad assed sleeper sled.

Thought it was chahn or clhahn. I talked with him several times in the past.

yep, its carl. I talked to him a couple times about doing this engine but I couldnt do the work for him in the time frame he needed as I was too busy. He got it completed but I dont know if he posted about it, someone on here must know him.

So don, it was a pro action style 600 wasn't it? I thought I had talked to him about the sled in a post but there is nothing in anthing he has posted on here. It must have been a chat night conversation. As I remember, he had used 700 sx stator/flywheel harness for fire.

Just curious
Are you thinking about using 3 600 cylinders on a 700 tripple case?
