440 reed port grinding

is there performance or any gain to knifing the ports on the bottom 440 exciter cylinders like the gpx cyl, there is a lot of meat between the two ports.

not really unless you plan on porting the sled ........if that is the rout you plan you will have to go hoggin' i swear when i build these motors in race form the cylinders loos over a pound from the amount i take out of them
 
i wouldn't mind doing some work but to the extent you talk about
