Hi. Have one price 1000 and one union bay 1000 engines. Both are srx/viper based. Wich ignition sytem would be best to run? For now I have viper. But have heard that sx ignition is good to. Any suggestions?

i have a repro viper box,it says 9400 on it for sale also have a 2000 srx 10k repro box for sale 450.00 ea. if one of them would help ya.

Put a complete sx ignition in it. That is what I did with my srx price 1000. You can use the srx coils just wire them in series.
never done this but, have messed with alot of conversion wiring between proactions.
if you can find complete stuff. Get ignition from a dual bulb red headed motor. as well as stator.
your flywheel will then work with it and you will be able to run all your other fun stuff on that viper like, dual bulb light, your thumb warmer and grips separated.
The only thing you will need to do is a few wires need to be moved around in the hood hanress and some wires stripped out of yours to run your speedo pickup.
This is going to give you straight timing without the computer figuring in pv operation. You will also use your coil packs.

stator
cdi box
