well i just had my cables adjusted near the end of the year by the dealer since i was getting some work done..so this year, i decided to clean my valves myself and not adjust them since they were just done..but i just want to make sure i did it right since it was my first time..i unbolted the 3 valves and then took the servo cover off and turned the servo motor with vice grips to allow for slack so i could get the valves off the cables..after cleaning them and putting them back on the cables, i turned the servo motor back to pull the valves back into the vavle body and rebolted the valves back in...did i do everything correct? because when i fired the sled up (left the servo cover off), it moved slightly and stopped...i pretty sure these dont move until WOT but wasnt sure..let me know

At least as fine as dealer left them anyways. Quick easy way to check for to tight is fire sled up and with choke get it to idle below 900. Take a look at servo, If its twitching/jittering your to tight. No easy way to check for to loose as far as I know

X2 - Hard to say for sure but based on your description it sounds as if the cables may be too tight. If you can pull the valves and clean them yourself you can surely adjust them yourself. I would not rely on the dealer's adjustment from last year. They may have gotten it right or may not. Even so, cable stretch since then could also cause them to be out of position.
