i was wondering what the pro's and con's of taking the sway bar off would be? i have a buddy that has a 02 MM that had the bar taken off and seems like he has had no problems.

I pulled mine off last year in McCall. I wish I would have pulled it off when it was new! Big improvement in rough terrian and off trail riding. The front end dosn't pitch you around nearly as much. Seems to corner just as well on the trails, I have the 42" ski stance. Nice 5 pound weight loss too.
If you want to try it first, then just take one of the connecting links (dog bone) out and take er for a spin.

cons would be nothing to stop travel going down like if you are in the air the only thing holding the trailing arm up is the shock and the steering links that will bottom out on the bulkhead.i would lift the sled on a stand after removing sway links and check for clearance issues.
