The V-Max 500/600 engine is an evolution of the Exciter 570 engine.
My friend has an Exciter-I ( 1989 ) with bad crank and he have found a good crank from an V-Max 500/600
Will the V-Max crank fit in the Exciter crank case ?
Is it bolt on ?
I not know of the differences between the model years and if something has changed on the crank, such as Stator fitting or bearings or anything else !?!?

I put a crank from a 600 in my 87 Exciter and it was a drop in application. Looks like the numbers match for the 89 up to 97 so drop it in.
