My question is this, after installing some heelclickers the 98 srx 700 revs to about 86-8750 rpms and pull's hard, are the rpm's to high? my shop manual shows 8500+or-250,this first year manual has had some misprints so I need to know everyones thoughts on this.

98 should be 8350ish 2000 up 8500

Man I miss those triples!
I added 3 grams to the tip and it now pulls 8500 rpm's and I gained almost 10 mph.
