I checked the TECH section, but I don't think that picture showing the bleeder location is the same on SRX's
Checking the online parts diagram, I don't see anything called "bleeder screw" but I do see "breather". Same thing??

its the same on all of them, this line you remove the end cap on is bolted to the center reed block/carb boot area, same on all srx,all vipers and all other triple engines. just remove the cap and the air will be pushed right out , replace cap and your all done. The only other thing I do is when i first start them up is to seperate the oilpump cable at the adjuster holding it wide open for a minute or so to give everything a good shot of oil at idle, then replace cable into adjuster and go look for coolant leaks and etc. Let engine warm up good till the running boards are warm to touch. I vary the throttle a little bit,but dont whale on it too bad. heat cycle it 2 times its broke in ready to ride as normal.

Just for clarification, this should be done whenever the oil pump is removed from the crankcase correct? Also, what other times should the line be bled?

For all the time it takes it never hurts to do this is the fall before you fire the sled up after summer storage, it's a habit I've gotten into with mine.
