cable frey

just wondering if it would last the season or not. middle cable has 1 little frey (1 small wire) on it right at the little nib (end). should I replace it?

i changed one like that and kept the old as a spare..But since last years low mileage runs,one of the new cables was broke about 1/2' from the PV..now that has me thinking why..my valve are not adjusted to tight,so cable must be rubbing on the slotted cap on the body part where valve goes into..

I should've mentioned the one I replaced had the nub on the end of the cable missing.

that is nuts for a price.I usually pu mine for around $21 from the US,but your dealer charged more and you will get it much quicker.Ouch!!!

I was looking at some that were $25 in the US, but then add on about $15-20 shipping and I might as well support the dealer...and like you said, get it quicker. where do you get your parts from?

yes buying 1 item from the US wouldn't make sense because of shipping.But if you had to order 3 and some other stuff,then it would be worth it.Just buying belts from US I save way over 50%.Good luck.

oh yeah,,your dealer has added for shipping as well..like $25 worth anyways..but it will be quicker.When I use to order from my dealer here,it comes from the East(warehouse),so I always got things in a week.
