I finally got home long enough to get my 144" 2002 SRX out for first ride of the season.
In the off season I did a number of upogrades.
-fox floats with Carbon tech adjustable resevoirs
-balanced primary
-installed VK540 fixed sheave for overdrive[belt able to come right to top]
-installed 21/39 gears
-installed water temp guage
-all new bearings ect
-installed modified set of XCR 800 TMX 38s with TPS
-ect...
The sled seems to run very strong with excellent throttle response but currently over revs to over 8800rpm.
Once I sort out final jetting specs and dial in the RPM I will go head to head with my buddies 2012 800 ETECH and post the results.

Nice.
I still have green in my yard. How far north do I have to go to see white?

West and North of Thunder Bay and you get into the rideable snow.

Buddy I ride with took off for a ski trip last Thursday. I keep my sled at his place up North. Gotta wait now until Feb 22nd. Besides most of the trails in District 9 ARE STILL LIMITED.

There limited cuz they have no base.
It's fine that u got a foot or two of snow but if there is no base it sucks.
And all waterways are most likely not frozen

I dont think we'll see all green this year, but groomers are out 24/7.
Problem is as mentioned, not much of a base in some places. Some wind swept area's are tough and some wet area's. I was out last night for a drive and even the smaller side roads still have snow on them. Not after today though I wouldnt think.
If you can get out mid to late week, you'll have some good riding. They get pretty tore up Friday night and all weekend.
