i have a 2011 phaser mtx got it last april new. put 325 km.so far.rolled it 4 times.so,i then softened up the 2 track shocks, the strap, and the ski springs to 2nd. softest.took it for a test drive yestrday.its not as tippy.im learning how to get a feel for how to controll its tippyness.along with ski lift in the twisties, its hard to controll on side slopping trails.can anyone tell me if my adjustments are on track.i weigh 160lbs. im 5 foot 7".i i lke the phaser in the snow,i usually cut the trail in the cutlines around grande cache alberta where we live and the wife and daughter follow behind on there machines.f570 and a grande touring 550 sport.

The phazer is a rider input sled, you really have to move around on it like you would a dirt bike or Quad.
Not sure if your skis are setup like my Nytro's with a bushing on each side of the spindle, but if it is you could try and put both bushings to the outside of of the spindle. This will widen your ski stance and help in twisties.

well i went for a test ride on the phaser mtx today.-25celcius.i had set the limiter strap as loose as it would go.much worse as far as tippyness.the 3 km. trail is mostly side hill, twisty and very packed down.even with both feet on the uphill side of the tunnel,i could hardly keep it from tipping over.so back in the garage, limiter strap now set to 3rd set of holes out of 5 sets.gonna go out again and try it out.
Yeah, any time you let the limiter strap out as loose as it will go, it will make it more tippy. Plus , its not good for deep powder riding as it will increase your track angle and cause trenching.

Well, adjusted the limiter strap to 3 out of 5.rode it for an hour.-22celcius.its not as tippy.probly as good as its gonna get. Im riding much more forward so much differant then my daughters cat f 570 fan.but,im getting better.havnt rolled in 100 kms.lol lots of ski lift but more controllable.went off trail abit in about 24-30" of snow.between the trees stuff.thats were its a bit of a toy.i think theres hope for the little phaser mtx.maby the problem hasnt been the phaser but the old style flat lander from yellowknife in a new more challenging enviorment.a few more miles and hopefully ill be ggod to go.i noticed a guy down the street sporting a new black nitro.santa was nice to him this year,i like my new yamaha,a real change from my first one1982 enticer 340 which i put about 3000 kms. On in yellowknife.
