What does everyone run for injector oil in there yamaha strokes, any brand better than others???

The most expensive stuff I can find, If its not pricey enough I will go to another store :whine: Just kidding! I run amsoil interceptor as I have 4 srx's and a sxr. Lots of other threads with lots of other suggestions. Theres 6-8 popular choices that seem to have the own region due to availibilty.

from personal experience the redheads arent to picky when it comes to oil but you may want to try to use something like amsoil or klots in the powervalved engines

2 stroke oil has gone thru the roof with prices. Now Shell Advance Ultra is $60 for 4 liter at CT plus tax. That is nearly $70..like $17 a liter.that is insane. What are the oil companies doing to us.Amsoil is even more here..That would cost me $82 every tank of fuel and oil..getting to be a very expensive sport and can't keep riding as much anymore.

Here....

There must be 10 threads on this already. Id do a search. I ran cheap stuff last two years and my powervalves have never been cleaner. Brother runs only yamalube and had to practically use a puller to get his valves out, just gummed in there.

killer..so you are saying that if I run a little cheaper oil,not synthetic that my SRX will still run well...???? Oils in Canada are outrageous in price.

Read your other post....OOUUCCHH! Do you guys have Wal-marts up there? My buddy has a 2001 SxR (no pvs of course) and he has FLOGGED the PI$$ out of it for 12,xxx miles running wal-marts private labeled (super-tech)......$12 a GALLON. Rebuilt it a 10K...just in case! I get amsoil interceptor for $27 a GALLON.

I prefer lightly salted butter. Keeps the carbon down and the salt helps pull the butter into the cylinder wall molecules. Add a quirt of bacon grease in there for scent and bang! It'll probably blow up.

I occasionally find my self looking for it on the forum haha!

But in all reality, I'm a Yamalube guy. If it wasn't a decent oil, Yamaha wouldn't be using it still to this day. I even ran it in the one ski doo I had.
