I've got a Bender can and I really like the sound. Check out YouTube, there some nice sound comparisons.

The aftermarket can will give it a more agressive sound but the bad thing about Vipers is they lose some significant power by doing so. Now the triple pipes add big power and sound great but can be rather temperamental so if you do.......please do your homework or you will pay dearly with pipes.
This is a hard find used but I have hear a Bender 4x4 single dumping into the stock can will actually give it a hair more and they don't sound bad either.

yes thats nice if i could find a used one for decent price i would try that according to bender site its a 5hp gain with the pipe and 5hp gain with the can and about 20lbs lighter, clutching is reguired.but what about jetting would i have to change jetting to run that single pipe and canjourneyman said:The aftermarket can will give it a more agressive sound but the bad thing about Vipers is they lose some significant power by doing so. You would be fine with the jetting on a single pipe. There was a guy on here a few years ago. He had the Bender single pipe and can combo. What he found was the sled was stronger with the pipe only.....with the can it actually lost power. Didn't matter if he ran the can on the stock pipe or ran the can on the Bender pipe. But with the Bender pipe into the stock can it gained. His rpm's went up with this combo telling you the sled gained power.
I myself have tried three different cans(Bender, SLP and MBRP) on the stock pipe and all lost power. Rpm's dropped and my father has an identicle Viper to test against and it was astonishing how much power I lost. With both sleds being close normally (his is a bit faster usually) mine was suddenly like I dropped 100-200 cc's with a can on. That bad!! I chose not to run one for this reason.
