Having trouble removing my oil cable.
Im trying to swap it with a extension cable for a bar riser im putting on.
But the pump is directly under the motor mount, and I cant get a wrench on the cable to get it off.
Just wondering if anyone has any tips as to removing it.
Thanks in advance

You will have to remove that motor mount. Then you can get right at it. Not a biggie, the engine will not move.

New cable in!!.
Now my question is...
Should i just set the cable so it just starts to open the oil valve when i give it gas?
I dont think i can do the 20mm setting on these cables. (their SPI cables).
The way its set now is there's maybe 1/8 of play before it starts to open, but opens fully at full throttle.
Thanks again, really appreciate the help.

it doesnt help you much now but the easiest way probably would have been to measure or somehow mark where the arm was at full throttle with the old cable on the readjust the new one to match. There have been quite a few threads on setting aftermarket cables. There always seems to be some confusion on it. I've never dealt with it so I never really took in the info from those threads but a search might help you out.

I like to set my cable to the oil consumption of the sled. I would set it a little rich and then adjust until you are using 800ml of oil for every 40 liters of gas. This means the sled is using oil at a 50:1 ratio. I am not sure if 50:1 is the right specification for the srx, but I have used it for several thousand miles without a problem. Maybe someone knows the exact oil consumption that should take place over a tank of gas.

I shoot for around 50:1 as well. it's getting it somewhere in the ballpark to start that is the problem with the aftermarket cables. At least with the factory cable you can set it in the tolerance range and dial it in from there.
