Windshield cracked

I have a low blue tinted windshield on a 99 srx that has a small crack in it that is only going to get worse, does anyone have any tricks or fixes that I could do to stop it for now. I would like to try and save it for this year if I could.

Drill a small hole at the end of the crack, that will stop it from getting any bigger...

Drill a small hole and fill it with hot glue.

Thanks for the reply guys, I was thinking the same thing drill a small hole to keep it from growing but the hot glue is something I hadn't thought of maybe I'll try that. Thanks,
