BELTS: 89L-17641-01-00 vs 8CJ-17641-00-00

i replaced a work 8cj belt with a 89l that was a spare for another sled. the 89l belt seems tight as it squeeks at idle.

is this an issue with the particular belt (shrunk from being outside for years?)

what is the difference between the 8cj and 89l belts anyways?
