Best Belt for SRX

Hello,

I have a question for everyone: What belt are you running on your SRX and how do you like it?

I need to get a new belt for my '98 SRX 700, my choices are:
Carlisle Ultimax 4 $99.95
Carlisle Ultimax XS $129.95
Dayco HPX $89.99
Dayco XTX $139.99
Yamaha 8DN-17641-01 $110.00

I have read several post about Dayco & Carlisle belts blowing up and not performing well, but most of these posts are from 5+ years ago.

What do the experts recommend?

I think the 8dn is what you'll find most people will recommend.
My local dealer sells them cheaper than any other belts they stock.

thats what the dealer here sells them for, I run gates extreme for 70 bucks a belt 2000 srx 700

You guys are lucky. I justed phoned the local dealer to double check, they want $109.99 for a 8DN here.

I always used the Dayco HPX belts and they performed great. Used the yamaha belt as my spare.

I use 89L yamaha belt for grass there cheap and work good
