So I replaced the joint that goes from the drive axle to the speedometerhousing thing. I tried it on the stand, worked. I let the sled sit for a while while I was indoors, and then I went riding, for the first 200-300 meters it would not work, and I thought, fine the joint is broken again, but then it suddenly sprung to life. I cannot imagine what could have caused this, there is a direct connection between the drive axle and the speedometer, so if anything bends, making the speedometer not read, it will break. Thoughts?

Gears in angle drive bad. Ice in it (maybe) once thawed it started catching.
Or issues in the speedo itself.

I had one that had to be further into axle first. Then I put housing on last and then it worked. Must have had some wear inside axle.
