I understand Tug Hill NY. has plenty of snow. I am now interested in exploring this area. Can anyone let me know about permits, great locations, lodging, ect. Any advise will be appreciated. Oh, it looks like the distance from us will be around 650 miles one way. Thanks Al

was up there about 15 years ago and was some nice riding. lots of traffic on weekends so i would go during week if you can. gonna have to register in ny and i dont really know what that cost these days. only place you need trailpermit is if you go to old forge. But plenty of riding to do if you dont want to go there. You do a search on google for tug hill will hook you up with a web site of the area, places to stay etc.
