does anybody know if the primary clutch can be changed out to another brand or a comet 102 style , looking for another clutch becouse mine always get stuck closed alittle and scared my kids might get hurt if it stays stuck closed
I'm in the process of cleaning up mine actually. I'm just waiting for my puller bolt to arrive. Sounds like a rebuild may be something else to look at.

A comet 102 will not work properly on your sled. The sheaves are a smaller diameter and wont give you the overdrive the stock clutch has. If you were to use a comet, you would need a 108.1yamaha1 said:
A better option is to rebuild your existing clutch or find a good used yami clutch and use your springs and weights.(if different). Once your yamaha clutch is rebuilt, it will give you a way longer service life than any comet.
