So I have been throwing the idea around for a while about getting an older sled to rip in lower snow conditions etc. I pulled the trigger on what I believe is a '80 Enticer 340. It is black with the orange stripes on the hood/tunnel. I will bring it home tomorrow and try to get some pics up. It is in real nice shape for its age and runs great from what I can tell with a little rip around the yard. I will go through it once it is home. The paperwork was lost a few years back and the family never bothered to get it as it was a yard sled. Shouldn't be an issue getting it.
Where can I get a service manual for it? I have searched a bit and haven't come across anything. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I'm in the same boat. I picked up a 79 300 enticer & a 340 enticer. I plan on making one out of two! The 340 has better parts- chain, primary,& rear skid? more power? I don't know what year my 340 is? Anyways- e-bay may have a manual, & plenty of parts. Eventually I plan on installing a phazer ll rear skid & a 121 inch & a 1/4 track. I've done this same mod to a bravo! goes anywhere - needs more power!
Nice, I checked out flea-bay but the oldest I could find was for 1983...I think anyways.
I am in the middle of a skid relocate on my bro's '88 Phazer to utilize a 121x1...should work out well when done.
Where in NY are you? Pendleton, near Niagara Falls here.

I'm looking into converting plastic skis to fit a leafer- You need to find a ski that you can mount a saddle on. many plastic skis have aluminum saddles, just need to find the right ski to allow for an extended saddle to make the leaf mount up. I'll keep you posted,as winter comes back & I see more sleds again, I'll be looking! Any luck w/ a manual? I want one also.

There is a guy on www.vintagesleds.com making plastic skiis for leafers.
Still in search of a manual.
Looking at the skis on my '99 XC...I almost think they could be rigged up with the leafs. I would like to get some better skis for that anyways so maybe something to tackle over the summer.
First is to drop the skid and give it thorough once over, new sliders, shock and clean/paint/lube everything. Then hit the chaincase. I wish I had a sandblaster.
