Happy new year guys'.I am at a dilema,looking for a replacement windshiield for my '99 Venture,it was the tall model oem.But what I am having trouble is that aftermarket (local)tells me there is only one available.So here is the original replacement#-8DM-77210-00 it should be around 19-20 inches tall.The jobber ones are a #8CR-77210 which is a list for a V-max 13.5 high.Do I have to go with an original YAMAHA part here? Or am I just not getting the right aftermarket numbers?

Royal Distributing carries windshields for your sled,but the hieght is only 14".You sure that the OEM's were higher..come to think of it,my windy on my 01 600SXR is pretty high,can't go measure it now because its in the back shed.Well good luck,I guess you can only get what is out there now.Can't the dealership pu an original for you???
