My son has grown out of his sno scoot and I want to get him a 1990 Phazer 11.
I had a 1986 and 1987 26 years ago so I cant remember if the steering was stiff or not? My son is 11 and only rides behind me so I can control his speed.
although he uses the throttle on his scoot like an on off switch. I just want to make sure he is going to be able turn the thing!
Thanks in advance.

I own a 99 new model phazer and I put dually wear rods on it. My wife and 7 year old drive it and i get no complaints. Duallys dont dig as much and they will make there own track.

Do the plastic ski TSS "upgrade" and you'll be fine.
If nothing else, he'll grow into the Phazer within a year

You can adjust the suspension to take weight off the skis. It won't ride quite as well, but will steer easier.

going from a sno scoot to anything is going to be more physical effort. the lightest steering sled would be a phazer due to its small size and light weight. the original phazer was a 116 inch track the phazer II has a 121 inch track and the front end is wider for more stability. either one is a good choice for the women and kids.
